Lancashire Business Environment Association and User Privacy
Over 350 organisations are members of the Lancashire Business Environment Association. When you become a BEA member, the information you submit to us as part of your profile will not become visible to other BEA members.
To protect you from unsolicited bulk email (spam), the BEA will keep your email address hidden at all times. In the members' forum (not part of this web site) you have the option to make your email address visible to other BEA members only.
Telephone and address details where held are not visible on public pages nor are they visible to other BEA members on this web site.
Information collected by the BEA
The BEA collects personally identifiable information from our users at several different points on our web site; the BEA collects personally identifiable information when you when you respond to surveys/questionnaires, when you book for a BEA event and when you enter promotions or contests.
From time-to-time our site may request information from you via surveys. Participation in these surveys is completely voluntary and you therefore have a choice whether or not to disclose this information. Information requested may include contact information (such as name and delivery address), and demographic information (such as post code, age).
How the BEA use cookies

In addition, firewalls prevent outside parties from accessing our database server through the Internet, and physical access to the database server is restricted to authorised individuals.

How you can opt out of receiving communications from us?
BEA members are given the opportunity to 'opt-out' of having their information used for purposes not directly related to our site at the point where the BEA asks for the information.
If you no longer wish to receive any of the BEA's electronic materials, you may opt-out of receiving these communications by replying with "unsubscribe" in the subject line in the email to info@lancsbea.co.uk.
You will always be notified when information is being collected by any outside parties. The BEA do this so our users can make an informed choice as to whether they should proceed with services that require an outside party, or not.
Changes to our privacy statement
